Final Piece Development

In my final image I am going to present four researched photographers in different ways but also blending them in. This will be shown by having each image in next to eachother and showing different features of photography and how different photographers present their photography. These images are by myself with ebstablished knowlodge of the photographer. The photographers that have inspired me to create these images are: Stina Persson, Barbara Kruger, Maxime Quoilin and Scott Jarvie.

Matt Wisniewski Own Example

This is my own example of Matt Wisniewski's work, as a photographer he created images that had inside shots of models and contrasted them with the outside world. In my image I have captured an action image of my model and combined it with an outside shot which I believed combines well.

Cris Wicks Own Example

This is my own example with inspiration from Cris Wicks, this photographer was very creative and artistic in the images he created. The photographs he created showed feelings and had inspirational words or beliefs. In my image I have contrasted music with expression.

Barbara Kruger Own Example

This is my own example inspired by the creative Barbara Kruger. This photograph is based on her artistic work using the idea of the face being split in three to create a positive/negative portrait, using the statement 'We are not what we seem'. In my image it is negative as my model is looking directly at the audience in both eyes, however the lighter side of the image shows more positive relations.

Stina Persson Own Example

This is my individual photograph inspired by Stina Persson. I created this image by taking 10 photographs of my model creating different facial expressions. After this I opened the best image onto photoshop and adjusted it slightly with the different washes creating a nice blend within the models face.

Stina Persson Artist Research

This photograph was produced by Stina Persson, who would creat portrait images using watercolour washes and masking off different parts of the portrait. An example of this artist's work can be seen below. As you can see in this image she likes to create weird vibrant shapes and create a mix of colours for presentation.

Julian Wolkenstein Artist Research

This photograph is inspired by Julian Wolkenstein, she produces two mirrior image portraits. She does this by selecting the same photograph and pastes it on 2 or 3 columms. After this she changes the transformation of the photograh to get a different effect. This image shows that the human face is not the same and has variation.

Julian Wolkenstein Own Example

These images were exactly the same before editing took place, I took these during a double lesson earlier this week. To make the normal images look like this in the insprtation of Julian Wolkenstein I had to tranfrom the images at different angles.

Maxime Quoilin Artist Research

This image was taken by Maxime Quoilin, I really like this photograph as she blends in a portrait image and a silhouette photograph. Also to add detail she has put in small sphere shapes so it looks like the model is blowing them. This photograph has been edited well and has been saturated for effect.

Maxime Quoilin Own Example

This is my own example of Maxime Quoilin's work, as a photographer she contrasts two images together by using a portrait as I have done and also a silhouette photograph. This produces a interesting final image showing lots of different perspectives.

Matt Wisniewski Research Analysis

This image was taken by Matt Wisniewski, he takes a portrait image of a person and a other image that will link into the portrait. In this image he has linked the womans hair with a landscape photograph of the coast and the waves rocking rapidly.

Cris Wicks Research Analysis

This is a image taken by Cris Wicks, he takes his images and adds text which relate to what is going on in the photograph. I really like this image as it shows power and the text stands out and relates to the full photograph.

Barbara Kruger Research Analysis

This photograph was taken by Barbara Kruger, as a photogrpaher she exceeds in creativity and this is the type of images she captures. I like this image because it is very sinister and dim but also the text stands out and gives out an inpring message to the audience.

Thomas Vauchez Research Analysis

This image was taken by Thomas Couderc, as a photographer he tries to blend image together by exposing them as a full image. This image shows power and detirmination and is full of bright vibrant colours that really connect well to produce this fianl image. The woman shows she is afraid but on the other hand the Lion comes out with confidence and Thomas has really shown this in the image.

Double Exposure 2

This is my Double Exposure image that I produced during a double lesson earlier this term. To produce this I had to take five images with a blue effect and five images with a red effect. After this I selected one red effect that I thought was the best and vice-versa with the blue. I then copied and uploaded these images onto Photoshop and worked with them using different tools to produce this final image.

Double Exposure Photoshoot

Earlier this term, I took several photographs of a student in my class using different colour filters. The colours I used were red to show danger, love and hate. Also as a second colour I used blue to show sadness and hope. This together produces a great combined final piece. To produce this you need to upoload both images on photoshop then use the blending mode and then click on normal then select screen to blend the images close together.  These produces two images with different colour effects to show a variety of moods.

Scott Jarvie Own Example

This is a image I took during a double lesson earlier this term, I used Scott Jarvies own examples to help me produce this. To produce this I used a large tripod to hold the camera and my partner held a light ring which made the ring cover his face and remove everything else in the image.

Scott Jarvie Research Analysis

This is a photo taken by the photographer named Scott Jarvie, most of his images are taken while using a piece of photographer equipment named the flash ring. This allows you to produce images which have the ring covering for effect. As you can see this photograph shows 3 people and shows them with elated moods and also if you put your fingers or hands around the flash ring this can help produce a excellent final image. He also uses a wide lense angle camera because it brings the faces closer to the camera.

Lucas Simoes Research

This photograph was taken by Lucas Simoes, a brazillian photographer who designed these types of photographs. This image shows a lot of perspectives and shows most of his face then hardly any, this is to blend other parts of the image into the final piece. Lucas would have processed about 3 photographs on photoshop and merged them together using the Simoes grid.

Lucas Simoes Own Example

On Friday I took 3 portrait images of a student who I was working with, then I uploaded these photographs on Photoshop then edited them using Lucas Simoes Grid. This helped me to blend my images together and to produce a final piece.

Final Piece

For my final design I decided to take three photographs that are similar but show diffrent areas of Kenton School. All of these images that I have been taken have used black and white and lighting to make the photograph look different and interesting.
