Berenice Abbott Artist Research

This is an image that Berenice Abbott took in New York using fish eye lens, it has hightened the perspective and skyline of the buildings. She has focuesed on the tall buildings so the image stands out and shows how big capacity this place is. Also he has darkened the lighting and used the trees to blend the photograph and really show the bulidngs height and creativity. Berience Abbot has used the techinque of depth of field in this image.

Berenice Abbott Work

This is my own example of Berenice Abbott's work, I captured this during a double lesson at the back of the school premises.I have used the wooded stand as a frame to work around, I have closely focused on the first stand and made everything else the background. Also this photograph was processed on photoshop to change the contrast and curves so that the image has more volumne and colour.

David Hockney Joiner 1

This is my own example of David Hockney's Joiners work, I achieved this by using the photomerge option on photoshop and selceting the collage option. This then merged the photographs together and produced this final piece, this image stands out to me as it shows different parts of the school and puts them togther which looks unique and interesting in many different ways.

Stephanie Jung Work

This is a photograph taken by Stephanie Jung. I like this image because of the vibrant colours, various patterns and shapes combining to produce a final piece. Also this photograph was processed on photoshop to make this busy city all blurred and multiply by many. Because of multiplying everything on the image this city/town could have been not as busy when taking the first shot.

Researched Variation of Light

I chose this image because the lighting shows happiness and to me it is as though it's a gateway to love and happiness. This could be because the light is reflecting radiation through the multiple trees, the trees are like a gateway which the brightness of the light shines through branches and combined trees.

Stephanie Jung Own Example

This is my own example of Stephanie Jungs workpiece, this was produced by capturing 20 images of 20 slightly different angles. This then produces the blend and mixture of colours and objects to produce the final piece.

David Hockney Research Analysis

This photograph was taken by David Hockney, I chose this image because the photographs overlapp and the bright blue colours blend together and really connect. The shadow in the top right of this image stands out and the patterns mix together and come together to stand out as a whole photograph. The bold  blue curved lines contrast together well and suggest to me mixed emotions between the colours and objects in the photograph. Most of all in all four corners, this image has various different patterns, colours and shapes. This all comes to one whole image and represents to me as a elated thought. To add to this all of David Hockneys images were processed by hand and he didnt use programmes such as photoshop.
